Newton House Conference 2022

We warmly welcome you to join us for our annual Newton House Conference: Faith and Its Affections.

 

Your understanding of faith and the affections shapes every part of your ministry, leadership, and personal walk with God, from your preaching and teaching to your beliefs about how people change and grow. Featuring rich theological and biblical teaching from a trusted international selection of speakers, these two days will be enriching and encouraging to both your personal life and your ministry.

The conference features teaching and Q&A sessions from Dr Michael Reeves, Professor Michael A.G. Haykin, Dr Clive Bowsher, Dr Philip G. Ryken and Dr Bradley Green.

Speakers

Michael Reeves

Michael Reeves is President and Professor of Theology at Union School of Theology in the UK. He leads the European Theologians Network and is author of Rejoice and Tremble: The Surprising Good News of the Fear of the Lord (Crossway, 2020).

Michael A.G. Haykin

Michael A.G. Haykin serves as Chair and Professor of Church History and
Director of the Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is the author of a number of books on the Ancient Church and British Dissent in the long eighteenth century.

Clive Bowsher

Clive Bowsher is a pastor-theologian with a passion for understanding and communicating the word of Christ. He serves at Union School of Theology in the UK, leading and managing the School as Provost, and is the author of Life in the Son: Union, Oneness & Participation with Christ in IVP’s New Studies in Biblical Theology series (forthcoming).

Philip G. Ryken

Philip Ryken is President of Wheaton College in IL, USA. He has authored a number of books including The Message of Salvation (IVP, 2001) and When Trouble Comes (Crossway, 2016).

Bradley Green

Bradley Green is Professor of Theological Studies at Union University in Jackson, TN, USA. He is the author of several books, including The Gospel and the Mind: Recovering and Shaping the Intellectual Life (Crossway, 2010).
