Associates and Junior Fellows
Associates
Serving as an Associate at Newton House includes participation in our worldwide community of evangelical scholars and students. Associates interact with Newton House Senior Fellows, Junior Fellows, and other Associates at our monthly online colloquium. As key members of our community, they help facilitate Newton House events. Associates are also invited to present at our annual research conference each year and have occasional publication opportunities.
We accept applications from around the world (living in Oxford is not required) and admit new Associates in October and January. Appointments are for one academic year. Time commitment: 5-10 hours per month. (This is an unpaid appointment.)
Contact Rob Trenckmann at rtrenckmann@newton-house.com for more information or to apply.
Junior Fellowships
Junior Fellows have the opportunity to do their research while at the heart of the Newton House community, gaining important academic experience for their curriculum vitae.
Junior Fellows work with the Director and Warden to help plan and organise Newton House events and publications. They help foster academic community, create awareness, and take an active role in Newton House gatherings. They are encouraged to explore further writing opportunities for Newton House/Union Publishing with the Director. The Junior Fellowship also offers the potential for teaching, lecturing, course management and marking experience at Union School of Theology (dependent on need and interest).
We accept applications from around the world. Living in Oxford is not required, but preference is given to local applicants. We admit new Junior Fellows in October and January. Appointments are for one academic year. Time commitment: 15-20 hours per month. (This is an unpaid appointment.)
